James Gorman

 

James Gorman is a senior at Washburn University majoring in journalism in the College of Arts and Science. He has been recognized for his academic achievements each semester on either the Dean’s list or President’s list.

            Gorman is a veteran of the United States Army, having served with the 163d Military Intelligence Battalion in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. He was awarded several medals, including the Army Commendation Medal and the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.

            Gorman enjoys hiking, traveling, and photography. He most recently traveled to India, where he documented social and cultural events.
